Eta Aquarii (η Aqr / η Aquarii) is a star in the constellation Aquarius. It has the occasional proper name Hydria, from the Greek ‘υδρια hudria "water jar".
Eta Aquarii is a blue-white B-type subgiant with an apparent magnitude of +4.04. It is approximately 184 light years from Earth.
Eta Aquarii is near the radiant of the meteor shower called the Eta Aquariids.
