Hello World!
I'm here to alert you all that Charas will probably have some downtime due to server's maintenance.
If all will goes as planned, down days should be Monday 25th and/or Tuesday 26th.

| The New Mayor of charas.
Phayre, its been swell, but all good things must come to an end and stuff.
The votes are in.
It was a pretty big majority that voted in favor of the winner...
A big welcome and awesome super mega freinds high five welcome to ZeroKirbyX as the Second ever charas Mayor.
ZKX won with Seven Votes
Ed was tied with Fortet for the runner up with 2 votes
Uberpwn had one vote, and so did Coasterkrazy
Archem Had the one vote...but it was sketchy at best.
So without firther ado, discuss, while I go make the proper arrangements

| New Mod Staff
It was a difficult and tumultuous time banging heads to decide who was going to hop on board as the next moderators of the forums. After much deliberation and complex formulation, that staff would like to congratulate Bluhman And Dragonium on their new found mod-dom.
Bluhman And Dragonium Will be co-moderating AoA together
Bluhman will also be keeping an loving eye on things up in Test and Welcome
while Draggy gets to keep a watchful gaze upon Forum Gaming.
Congrats on the new positions guys, and I hope you adjust well into the new positions.
It was difficult coming to this conclusion, as many of the applicants were quite well suited and heavily considered for the Job.

| Kind've an Award System
So the short downtime today resulted in sort of an award system to be implemented - the mods that I found that could do awards didn't do them all too well, so I stuck with the one I thought was best. It shows awards on the side profile, but that's it - it's not the most powerful thing, but it's better than nothing.
If people think it's worth it, I'll work on extending the system myself to include larger, profile-based award images and descriptions, but this seems good enough for now.
As promised, I'll be starting the Sprite-Off very soon (The writeup is coming right after I finish typing this, actually  ). The Complete Resources is still be worked on; I haven't been able to do too much in this due to the fact that I'm spending most of my time trying to figure out where I'm going to live in the coming weeks, but rest assured, it WILL get done eventually, as everything does. | | 16 comments |
