Joseph.Jr, also known as, DJUNYA is an eclectic producer focusing on the heavy tones of the British influenced DUBSTEP genre. DJUNYA passionatly started composing his music at a very young age. He continued to pursue his love for all types of music by studying drums and keyboards. Over the years DJUNYA has played with various live bands and worked on dub/beat projects across the United States. DJUNYA then began to DJ DRUM and BASS heavily in 1999. He was quickly noticed for his ability to program and cut mixes. His producing skills have been captivating listeners for a decade, and he has continued to move dance floors DJ'ing his Dubbed-out blend of BASS HEAVY BEATS... DJUNYA has been noticed internationally for DJ'ing sets on various internet & FM radio stations. Going to be in San Fran to perform music style on Feb 10th :) uhm I would like to Bring you to meet Alonzo King of lines ballet as well as long time friend Meredith Webster a dancer in lines ballet.. I went to a show in seattle they did recently with shoaline sp? monks that was amazing... They also had some beautifully composed electronic music. ;) So ya hope all is well.. OQTO, born in Fukuoka,living in Kanagawa/Japan. Been in the scene since the abstract and electronica were banging. Has experienced living in Europe&India, the raves and dub sound system culture there that he is a realistic guy as a master of music. Joined the compilation of Club Asia, dedicated tunes for Ryuichi Sakamoto's project, 'Stop Rokkasho' and been making tunes colored as Dubstep since 2006, what he is spreading out is the organic sound surrounded by lots of spacy synthesizer with the low drum and rough confusing beats. His work has been lifted up for twice in the UK scene by BBC/Mary Ann Hobbs and also been a regular of the underground radios such as Sub FM and Brap FM. Owns the independent label "BASSAB", he has played with Goth-Trad, DJ Tsuyoshi, Tokyo Zawinul Bach and many more. In Dec '08, his new&hoped-for album appears from the exclusive Japanese Dubstep label, "Steppin' Ahead" with the first formal packaging that will be praised for sure.
