Developer Comments

Email This! (formerly known as GMail This!) will send your recipient the link, title, & highlighted text of the page you are viewing using GMail, Yahoo, and Stand-Alone Mail Clients like Outlook Express, Thunderbird, & More! If you hate tool bar buttons, don't fret! I've included a right-click pop-up menu options and a menu on the main tool bar.

*Why do this?*
This is my first extension. I made this extension because I got sick of going to websites with interesting articles/videos that asked you to register if you wanted to send the article-link to people via email.

*Install*
After downloading (and restarting Firefox), right click anywhere on the toolbar, push customize, and drag the email-this button of your choice icon/button to the tool bar (if you want to use the buttons that is - context menu option available in v1.4 and accesskeys in version 1.4.5).
You're now ready to use EmailThis!

Red = GMail
Orange - Google Apps Gmail (Version 2.0.0)
Green = Yahoo
Blue = Stand-Alone Client

Does what it's supposed to for Gmail (Yahoo s---ks anyways. Five stars because it's the only quick page-emailing add-on that (brilliantly!) includes your selected text in the body of the email.

FYI fellow FF users. RTFM! Stop asking questions about it in the rating comments. I hate when a good add-on like this gets under-rated because of nit-pickers and lazy folks. Here's an example of writing a REVIEW, as it's intended:

"Email This! does not provide a large plethora of options. While this may be a drag for some FF power-users, it complements the simplicity of this add-on (how complicated should sending an email really be?). After installation, using this add-on was very simple and intuitive. Select my text of interest, right-click, and select the email service I want to use. Too easy!

While I might suggest that the author consider filling in a few extra-small details (a configuration option for setting a default "To" address, for example), this is still the most effective, instant-page-emailing solution that I've found for FF yet."

It's not difficult, FF fans. Try it sometime.

Great app, however,

Couple Improvement Suggestions.
1. Disable (not-show) what I don't use. For example, I only use gmail and work e-mail and that's all I want to see.

2. Have a favorite "send-to" list. For example, I send a lot of e-mails to myself as a reminder and keep track of.
