Goodrich Corp. said Wednesday it will provide landing gear maintenance for Asiana Airlines' fleet of large Boeing passenger jets under a contract with the Korean airliner.
The Associated Press
Goodrich Corp. said Wednesday it will provide landing gear maintenance for Asiana Airlines' fleet of large Boeing passenger jets under a contract with the Korean airliner.
Goodrich will conduct repair and overhaul services for Asiana's Boeing 777-200ER aircraft. Goodrich is one of the world's largest servicers of landing gear for Boeing jets.
The company said it will be able to speed up maintenance by switching out landing gear components and rotating them between jets as repairs are needed.
Asiana operates nine Boeing 777-200ER models.
Shares of Goodrich fell 32 cents to $60.68 in midday trading Wednesday.
