Views: 6879 | | It was great to meet the Handhelds.org users and developers that stopped by our booth. Opie(TM) 1.2.3 was big hit. Many potential users were ecstatic that there is now support for the Palm Tungsten T/T2/T3/T5/C/E/E2, LifeDrive, TX, Zire 71/72, Treo 600/650/680/700w/700p/750/755p and Foleo handheld devices. Many developers were excited by the unveiling of the new custom built servers that are under construction for the native ARM development cluster. The site Moblin.org has gone live and offers a set of tools for making Linux kernel based images on any sort of hardware. Of course they have included the stuff you need for making an image for one of their UMPC offerings. Their software seems to leverage Hildon from Nokia which means GTK+. Good luck Moblin.org. | |
