  • Biography

Min Dong received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, in 2004, and the B. Eng. degree from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 1998. During 2004-2008, she was with Corporate Research & Development at Qualcomm Research Center, Qualcomm Inc., San Diego, CA, where she has actively contributed to the research, design, and standardization of current and future OFDMA technologies for the next generation broadband mobile communications. In August 2008, she joined the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, where she is now an Assistant Professor. She also holds a status-only Assistant Professor appointment in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto.

  • Dr. Dong's research interests are in the areas of signal processing, wireless communications, and mobile networks. She received the IEEE Signal Processing Society Best Paper Award in 2004 for her work on the pilot design for packet transmissions over wireless channels.
