Invitation to Creative Capetonians The City of Cape Town is running a public audition process to identify emerging and new artists for public performances at the official City of Cape Town 2010 events during June/July 2010. This is a chance to showcase the remarkable range of talent Cape Town has to offer the world. We encourage all performers to take advantage of this opportunity. Successful performers will be offered additional professional training and may be selected to perform at official 2010 events and venues through this programme. Bands, singers, dancers, comedians, street performers, performance poets, physical theatre and circus performers are all invited to apply. This opportunity is only available to artists over the age of 12. Auditions will be taking place between 27 March 2010 and 24 April 2010, in Bellville, Woodstock, Mitchells Plain, Khayelitsha and Fish Hoek.
