Parliament rejected by a large majority on Friday two proposals to allow same-sex marriages. Two minor opposition parties, the Left Bloc and the Green Party, had offered the bills. The Green Party’s bill collected only 17 votes in the 230-seat legislature; the Left Bloc’s won the support of 11 lawmakers.
