Nope… and lame means either physically crippled or it is a slang term meaning pathetic, kinda corny or out of touch with modern fads or trends…
an example of a lame joke would be:
Person 1: “Why did the chicken cross the road?”
Person 2: “I don’t know why?”
Person 1: “To get to the other side!”
Person 2: “Wow what a lame joke…”
Person 1: “YOU’RE LAME!!!”
Person 2: “Hey thats not funny… I am in a wheel chair.”

If you just met them and they are only basing their impression of you on how little they know about you to call you lame, maybe they are the lames ones.

Consider the source. I wouldn’t worry about it.
