| Immigration Attorney - Please help!
I'm asking this question for my neighbor, who was arrested by Immigration early this morning (I don't know who else to ask besides this forum, as I'm an American born citizen). She's waiting to be deported to Peru (it's a possibility she's being held in Miami at this point [she was originally taken to Tampa]). It's unclear whether or not she will return at this point.
Her family (they're currently legal) has asked me if I could help them find a DECENT immigration attorney based out of Miami.
ANY help would be greatly appreciated through this forum or direct message. |

| I am sorry to hear about that situation. That's gotta be tough on a family, I can't imagine. I currently have an attorney working to get a friend's family from the Ukraine to Chicago. My friend is in a Cuban jail, I visited him last month, and he told me one thing - "get my family to the U.S. and take care of them." I understand your neighbor's plight because of my unique personal relationship with this man. My attorney is based in Chicago, however, I don't think he deals with South American immigration. For record's sake, his name is Stanley J. Horn. Thank you for your attorney's number - I'll pass that onto the family and have them give him a call to find out. Thanks for the link, too! |

| Call the FIU legal aid office they specialize in immigration issues. They are in the law library office. They also may be able to refer you to an imigration attorney in the Miami area. |

| I know of one named Eduardo Canal. He is known to be effective and not too pricey. He will be honest regarding the case. If he can't help he will say so and not make you spend your money for no reason. His number is 305-444-9068, he is in the Coral Gables area. |

| I just give my opinion. Thats all. I hate miami, but this is were I make my money. So I am stuck here. But is just so happens, immigration is my cup of tea. I cant wait for the us to becomes friends with raul so we can start deporting cubans who dont give a damn about the laws in the us. I also feel that if you have a working visa after 5 to 6 years OF pays taxes you should have a chance for a lpr card. I also feel that if you have a criminal record in the us and a FAMILY MEMBER petitions for you that it should be rejected! Also if you are stamped in for 6 MONTHS on a VACATION B2 VISA you should be on vacation not working or living here illigally in the US. Also its not hard to get a F! visa to go to school legally here. But the south american, local islands and euro trash have there kids go to the local schools on YOUR tax dollars! THATS YOUR MONEY! Let the ones who waited their turn, got a working visa, paroled, or at the very least have a immigrant packet have the chance to have the american dream. Food stamps for everyone! Thank your congressman and immigration judge who only cares about their retirement and fat paycheck! |
