Each year Channel 4 broadcasts a series of discussions between young Muslims and experts on Islamic affairs. From local to global and from personal to political, Shariah TV gives young Muslims the chance to explore the dilemmas and prospects they face in their day-to-day lives.

• reconcile two (or more) cultures and traditions

• express their identities in a secular society

• understand their own history

• challenge hostility and myths about Muslims

• relate positively to their neighbours, friends and colleagues.

This website reflects the diverse, vibrant and dynamic cultures and traditions of Muslims across the world, and looks at the issues they face.

It also covers the debates, dilemmas and challenges explored in the series by young Muslims living in secular modern societies.
