Last year, I planned an OSCARS® viewing party with my friends. To add some friendly competition and figure out who was coming, I collected people's predictions for the winners and their RSVP information with a Google form ahead of time. I found the process really easy, so this year I created a Google form for the 2010 OSCARS® and made it a template that anyone can use to plan their own viewing parties:
If you're getting together with friends for OSCAR NIGHT® tomorrow, check out this template in the Google Docs Template Gallery. Happy viewing!
“OSCAR®,” “OSCARS®,” “ACADEMY AWARD®,” “ACADEMY AWARDS®,” “OSCAR NIGHT®,” “A.M.P.A.S.®” and the “Oscar” design mark are trademarks of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science.

Is there any API or anything on how to create our own templates?
This template, by default, omits Inglourious Basterds for Best Picture.
@Daaaaave
Thanks for catching that. The template has been updated!
@alexandrojv
You can create your own template by going to the template gallery and selecting "Submit a template"
@Peter Harbison But how about for Forms? How can I modify the background, or the color fonts and so on?
@Peter Harbison: What I mean is how can any user create a theme for the forms?
How to include the image on top of the form?
great application -- how did you customize the form with the image banner?
You can also follow live conversation and real time updates on the oscars at http://bit.ly/aaward #oscars
@alexandrojv
You can't modify the background, colors or themes today. That's a good feature request.
@Peter Harbison: :) Alright thanks, I thought there would be some API that I could of used but thanks, hope to see that coming :D
Google Docs is so unstable since last Friday. I have to close and reopen is repeatedly to continue working. Does this have anything to do with this script gallery?
