Rails and Typo Demo

This demo will show you how to install a real-life Rails application (Typo) on our servers. You will learn how to:

  1. Install a default Rails application using our control panel
  2. Link your application to your domain using our control panel
  3. Create a database using the control panel
  4. SSH into your shell account
  5. Replace the default Rails project with your own project (a Typo blog)
  6. Install some additional gems (required by Typo)
  7. Configure your Typo application
  8. Restart your Mongrel server
  9. Play with your new blog!
