Hey there!..I’m sorry I called you man, I didn’t know you’re a woman :D… Thanks for sharing the dream,.. It’s really an interesting one,. I think it’s more of type 3 which is the work of your unconscious mind, since you said you were too jealous when you see him with other girls that you started to have dreams about it,.. I faced a similar case myself,.. I broke up with my best friend about a week ago after we had a huge fight, and I really hate to fight with anyone but sometimes it happens,. So, I keep wishing if he would call and try to explain why he acted that way or at least apologize so that we can get over this fight, and last night I dreamed of him calling me and trying to make things better with me,. Of course that was just my mind, but in reality he still didn’t call,.. Maybe the bad part is that I don’t think he will call since he is not even convinced that he did something wrong..

My point is.. What I saw in my dream is the result of what I keep thinking about in reality.. I think it’s the same case with you, but even though, there was a bright side in your story, as you started to learn to have less jealousy and more love in your heart and this is a very good result,..

I think even the smallest experiences that we go through in life can help us A LOT in becoming a better versions of ourselves..

You know, there is a chapter in Quran that is telling the story of prophet Yusuf “Yusuf is his Name in Arabic, but in English it’s Joseph”.. The thing about this story that Joseph was giving the knowledge from God to explain visions that people see at their sleep..

The story itself begins with a vision that was seen by Joseph when he was young that didn’t come true till the end of the story,.. You know that it could actually take years before a vision come true, it doesn’t have to come true on the next day or something… Anyway, this is a very beautiful story of the life of joseph.. If you found time, read it..

Thanks for your note,. I’m actually a Muslim, and for me a dream is never just a dream “well, not in all cases”.. not all dreams are the same,. I’ll tell you the view I have of dreams, and hope it can help..

There are different states to describe what you have seen while you were sleeping..

1- first state..when you see something that is similar to a prediction of the future or warning, it’s called a “vision”, and it’s a sign send to you from God to tell you about something or warn you from something. “have you ever dreamed of something and woke up to find it happened in reality?”, if yes, that was a vision from God..

2- other type or state is when you see things that are scary, disgusting, and really make you lose your sleep and feel bad or afraid,.. And this is what we call nightmare, and it’s the act of Satan..

3- third type is the type of things you see that comes only from your unconscious mind, as you know that we deal with lots of things in our day and there are things that we keep “hidden” in our unconscious mind, any sort of thoughts that you can’t release but keep it inside you,.. well, you sort of connect your unconscious mind while sleeping and some of these ideas that you “lock there” find a release through your dreams,. so you start having dreams that seem meaningless, the things you see are very random and not clear, and this is the work of your mind :)..

This is my understanding on dreams and the differences that exist among them which should make us able to judge if the dream we had was a warning from God or act of Satan or just our unconscious mind expressing what we are hiding in it?…

My understanding however can be short regarding to the world of dreams that we don’t know enough about, but I can tell you for sure that each one of us see all these 3 types of dreams during his or her life..

There are few verses in Quran that spoken of dreams and also some sayings of prophet Muhammed, but this is another story,.. I hope I helped explaining it for you my friend.. :))

Oh no, quite the opposite, but you should know something. That post was originally posted quite a while ago. This I am sure that you can see, but this was when I was becoming acquainted with the poster. He is Islamic. He is also a good friend of mine. I just thought that you should know that as with this post there are always extenuating circumstances that we as responders are unaware of. I just wanted to give you a bit of advice. Go with your gut and go with God. By the way, I am doing well and you really shouldn’t worry as much about offending people. If I remember correctly, Jesus went so far as to call the Sadducees whited sepulchers and a brood of vipers. haha
