Too bad that was only for a short time becasue it is an awesome TV. I chose to have it shipped to a store by my house to save on shipping. It arrived at the store 13 days after I ordered due to the Thanksgiving holiday so the shipping was not the best but you can't beat the deal for the TV. The extra couple of days is well worth the wait for the great deal. $1,165 for a 54" Panasonic Plasma!! give me a break there isn't a better deal out there. Who else does business this way? Told delivery expected 12/2 to 12/4. There is no bad weather, no labor strikes, no fuel shortage, no roads blocked, no earthquakes, hurricanes, etc., yet the package arrives 12/7. Your shipper did their "stash and dash" and the package is found behind a bush near the front door. It's tragic how two well known corporate names have allowed their service to fall to such a painfully poor state. And good luck using the link Sears provides to track your order; it takes you to the Sears retail page. From there you get to explore their site trying to find the link. ATTENTION SEARS EXECS: Have a friend by on-line from Sears; check your processes out. These are issues that can be turned from a strong negative to a big plus. BUT YOU HAVE TO WANT TO IMPROVE and so far I don't see the interest. | Calificación |

I purchased an LCD TV from them online in October and picked it up myself at a local store. When five weeks later the TV became defective, I had absolutely no difficulty with them making an exhange for a new one on December 6. They were kind and willing to satisfy. It was a no-questions-asked exchange. Given the experiences I've had with this purchase, I would easily recommend Sears.com to anyone who asks. | Calificación |

This time, I provided a diagram with exact measurements of the washer/dryer area to Sears. They took extra time to side-vent the dryer because they said the space required it. Upon delivery the driver said, "It needs to be rear-vented." Sears took the dryer back, lost it, found it, refitted it and redelivered it. The driver said,"It needs to be rear-vented." They then found the dryer was broken but would not take the product back. During every step of this process every person on the phone and in my house displayed total incompetence. The phone system does not actually accept the numeric inputs you give it. The people on the phone are not equipted to handle anyhing other than, "Yes, thank you." The delivery people are devoid of ability to do their job. This is the second delivery issue I've had with Sears. I've written a formal complaint with them each time, and each time they have not responded. I will never use Sears again. | Calificación |

This time I ordered a Gas Range(white) and was billed the day I placed my order. When the item came in, I went to the store to pick it up. The individual in the pick up area had no idea as to what was going on. About 5 minutes after I had scanned my receipt and it showed up on the monitor, he came out and tried to scan it again. I showed him the monitor and he said, "oh, that's the problem". After another 5-10 minutes he came out with a range, electric and black. I let him carry it to the truck and then had to argue with him that it was not the right one. It was not even in a box. About 15 minutes later, he came out with the correct item, in a box. I had to ask him to get some one to help him load the range into my truck. The time on the monitor stopped when he came out with the first range, making the delivery time look good. | Calificación |

You'll be glad you didn't. Sears successfully killed my business forever. Saga started 6/26/08 Received email about unit being available for pickup. Sears called an said they don't have the unit but could order it. I declined (would get one at another store). Asked rep to check other store inventory. He could not do this. He did not offer to cancel the order (he should have as I later found out). Went online to cancel order. Can't be done on line. Even through the CS 800 number on the receipt order cannot be canceled. Called store several times over several days to cancel order through the store etc. July 7th, Voicemail that order is ready for pickup. Tried to cancel. Called Chicago to get to high level management. Stopped by scripted drone support rep. Went to another store a bought the unit. First off the TV was only available from a store 1.5 hours away. I ordered Sunday afternoon and received an e-mail monday night to confirm "details" of the credit card I used (sears card). Straightened out all the credit issues Tuesday. Called wednesday for a status update, was told the order was on "hold" and most likely due to the CC issue. Thursday I called was told the order was clear of the CC issues and delivery would be Saturday (6 days after order, 5 business days). Called Friday and was told the order was on HOLD again, this time due to the TV not being able to be sourced at the warehouse (note, item was instock to be shipped to store when I ordered and at the time of this phonecall according to the website), HOWEVER I was still told the delivery of the TV to the store would be the next day. Called the next day and BAM the 55" tv has magically fallen off the face of the universe and is now unavailable. Go figure. | Calificación |

What a scam, we bought a TV from them since thy were on sale. we were told that the TV was not in stock and it would be here in a week. Last night we called to verify everything and that we would be able to pick up the TV tomorrow. Today I went to get the TV and was told they didn't have it and it didn't come in on the truck. I should just keep trying every Wednesday and Friday to see when it comes in. I told them I spent 1500.00 and have no TV and don't want to just keep checking back forever with nothing to show from my money. Two days before the scheduled arrival day, I received a call to inform me that the delivery had to be delayed one week due to "problems with the manufacturer". Since then, it has been delayed "One week more" 2 more times. In the meantime, I have received dozens of calls from automated machines "informing" me with "details" of my delivery. Finally I cancelled the order after I received one more call to inform me that the order was going to be delayed AGAIN. How do I know that this time was going to be the last time? And even if this time was the last time, I could not handle anymore that continuous calls from automated machines with the same "useful" information. I thought that was the reson they sold it as is. I paid $1800. The sales person told us that the parts were in the box. After delivery we did not find the four burner caps. Without them the range is not working at all. I went back to the outlet shop, of course they don't take any responsibility, because they told it was as is. After several customer service calls, finally after two weeks a service guy was suppose to come with the missing parts. He came but brought the wrong parts. He ordered the caps but I would get it in one-two weeks. I have to feed four people every day, and I could not use my expensive Kenmore range for three weeks now. I paid nearly two thousand dollars for a pile of useless metal. How Sears can afford to do things like that? The owners are already have great enough life, they don't care. Placed order, received shipping info via email--delivery site states: All products will be uncartoned, inspected and placed in your location of choice. The Delivery Team will turn on product to assure working condition. This did not happen--the delivery svs (trucking co.) dropped off large screen TV in our apartment complex parking lot, even though we live on 3rd floor. Merchant exceeded delivery time and did not meet delivery specifications. When I called merchant, was told item could not be delivered or set-up inside our residence. Delivery svs rep stated item should not have been shipped via their service because of it's size. I was able to play with all the controls. No pushy salesman hassled me. I asked the salesman about the A/V inputs. He turned the TV around and checked the back for me. SEARS Price was $50.00 more. But I showed them the J&R music world price I found using PRICE GRABBER and they matched the price for me. The TV was delivered a few days after I ordered it. The TEMPERED glass table shattered into a million pieces after 1 year and 2 months. SEARS will not honor any kind of replacement and would not even contact the manufacturer. They feel my complaint is with the manf (of which I had to contact 4 different companies just to get to the right one). Sears is obviously NO LONGER a reputable merchant.
