VirusLocker is installed on to your computer without your permission through the use of Trojans that masquerade as video or audio codecs. Once the program is installed, it will automatically launch and do a scan on your computer. Regardless of what it finds, it is advised that you do not purchase this software. Some of the Trojans installed with VirusLocker will also display fake security alerts in your Windows taskbar stating that there is a security problem. These alerts are fake as well and should be ignored.
